About Us

Our Beliefs

Johnson Park Seventh-day Adventist Church is located in the North-central part of New Providence, The Bahamas. We are a church with a myriad of cultures all under one mission -to share love to our community with the gospel of Christ.

We believe in 28 fundamental beliefs, based on the Word of God, that should permeate the life of any believer. Some of our beliefs includes the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit), Baptism by immersion, daily need to grow in Christ, the Seventh-day Sabbath, Holy Communion and the Second coming of Christ.

Ways you can assist the church

Commit to a Ministry

Complete our spiritual gifts test if unsure of where you would fit in, observe that particular ministry in church and then offer to participate in its activities.

If there is no active ministry that utilizes your spiritual gift(s), speak with the Pastoral team for advice on how you can utilize your gift(s).

Support the church with
in-reach and outreach activities

Show support by attending functions, participating in the events and sharing the activities to others in the community.

Each one can reach one.

Return
Tithes & Offering

In obedience to God’s word, He is our supplier of all that we have and has commanded us to return our tithes and offering.

Tithes and offering are instrumental in pushing the work of the church. It helps ministries to execute their functions and for the church to provide any assistance to members who may be in need.

Moreover, God is willing to pour out more and more of his blessings on you when you remain obedient to His word.

What has God done for you lately?

Thankful for God’s daily protection, for my family and for good health.

E. Romer

God’s grace is never something I should have been given but He saw me as worthy and for that I am indeed grateful.

S. Joseph

I am thankful for how blessed I am to have food and a loving home to be in during this pandemic because so many people do not have much to eat, let alone a loving household to live in!

M. Bain

I am thankful for knowing that Jesus loves me!
